Anaconda Design Unification
Process Creation | Design Strategy | Product Consistency

Lauren joined Anaconda as a founding member and manager of the UX department. Previously, the company considered UX as an afterthought, to the determent of the user. Lauren led the development and implementation of scalable process and systems seamlessly integrating it into the company’s existing ecosystem to support the goal of a human-centered product. The multifaceted UX department- design, research, design technology, and content- developed a vision to bring all of Anaconda's varying products, properties, and applications into one experience.
This started with a unified design system, Lauren successfully implemented it across development teams to significantly improve efficiency, as evidenced by the new navigation bar implementation, which took only 1 sprint instead of the original 3-sprint estimate, and received positive anecdotal feedback regarding its ease of use.
Lauren championed the vision to foster collaboration and integration within the larger company ecosystem. She managed multiple cross-functional projects, oversaw scope development, stakeholder interviews, roadmapping, OKRs, workflows, collaboration processes, design reviews, and interdepartmental communication.
